Betina spent 25 years as part of an independent PT & Pilates practice in Long Beach, CA, including four years as an owner. Her experience as a dance educator along with the kinesiology curriculum she took in college inspired her to become a PT.
A back injury, which restricted her ability to dance, led to a committed personal practice of Pilates for fitness. In addition, she was the physical therapist for the UC Irvine dance department.
Betina has studied and taught Pilates for over 30 years and has been incorporating the Pilates method into rehabilitation as well as teaching group Pilates classes.
She is excited to live in Colorado to be closer to family and spend more time skiing and hiking in the Rocky Mountains. In her free time, Betina can be found in yoga class, out on the trails, cooking something new in the kitchen and reading.
