AN EXTRAORDINARY TALE FOR A GOOD CAUSE
Bicycling is great for your health, great for the environment and great fun! Stan Havlick is all about bikes and happy to share an extraordinary story for a good cause. That cause is Community Cycles, a non-profit organization whose purpose is to educate and advocate for the use of bicycles as affordable, sustainable transportation and personal enjoyment.
In the summer of 2006, Stan Havlick completed a 14-year quest to cycle nearly 20,000 miles coast-to-coast across all of earth’s six bike-able continents. In 2014, Stan cycled around the perimeter of Iceland.
Join us as Stan shares tales and
photos of his extraordinary
adventures and unique cultural
experiences. His inspirational
and entertaining shows thrill
audiences young and old. Stan
will also devote a portion of the
program to answering questions
about the wonderful world of
traveling by bike.

SORRY TO KEEP YOU WAITING
We have been searching for a good way to manage schedules and waitlists, and we think we have found a better solution.
Starting July 4th, you will receive a reminder 24 hours
prior to your scheduled appointment. If you have a cell
phone, reminders come via text. Otherwise you will
receive an email, and if you don’t have email, you will get
a phone call. You will be asked to confirm or cancel your
appointment at the time of reminder. You can also let us
know if you want to change how you wish to be notified.
Also starting next week, the way we handle the wait list will change. If you are on the wait list and an appointment becomes available, you will be notified – again via text, email, or phone. You then have 15 minutes to confirm whether or not you want the appointment. If we don’t hear from you within 15 minutes, the next person on the list will get the notice. You will remain on the wait list should another appointment open up.
We know the current procedure has caused some stress, and we hope this will be less of a hassle for everyone. We appreciate your patience and we look forward to meeting your scheduling needs in the best way possible. This is a work in progress, so please let us know how it’s working for you.
