While we are too landlocked to have experienced the fury of Hurricane Irene first hand, recently, our own little hurricane appeared at ALTA. First, Mike left our practice, then a truck hit Erin, and most recently Charlie announced his plans to start his own business.
Though change is more certain than almost anything, very few people welcome it. It was Darwin who said, “It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.” At ALTA, our goal is not just to survive, but to evolve in positive ways so we continue to provide the best Physical Therapy in our community. In that spirit, I present the changes coming to ALTA.
ALTA has always been blessed with a wonderful staff, and I am grateful for those people who make our clinic exceptional. It seems hard to imagine replacing one great person with someone equally great, but that has been our history, with few exceptions.
While I am sad to say goodbye to Charlie, I am thrilled to introduce some returning members of the ALTA team. Russ Overy, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT is joining ALTA after several years. Russ worked for us in the early 90′s as a PT Assistant before he went back to school. Though he was fabulous then, Russ returns with many more letters behind his name, and lots more great experience.
Debbie Steinmann, LPTA, GCFP, is another familiar face and a gifted movement specialist. She is a PT Assistant and a certified Feldenkrais practitioner. Debbie stepped in when Erin was injured, and we have found that Feldenkrais fits beautifully into our practice. We hope to continue offering Debbie’s services even after Erin returns to work.
ALTA has an incredible group of skilled practitioners eager to help you recover from your injuries. We treat as a team, using the combined talents of our group to ensure the quickest and most complete resolution to your problem. And, we want you to be as excited about these changes as we are. If you are not 100% thrilled with your experience at ALTA, please let us know. We aim to exceed your expectations.
